PF: What happens if a European Postdoctoral Fellowships project is granted with a host organisation in country “A” but has to be transferred to another beneficiary located in country “B” before the actual start of the project? Would the correction coefficient of the country in which the new host organisation is located be applied?

In certain justified cases, such as when the supervisor and the entire group need to relocate to another institution, it is possible to request a change of host before the project start date. If the Grant Agreement has already been signed, the change of host must be done by submitting an amendment to the Grant Agreement.

To initiate the change of host process, the current host (beneficiary) must reach out to the Project Officer responsible for the project. After assessment, the Project Officer will provide detailed instructions on the necessary steps to follow, including updating Annex I and obtaining agreement letters from all parties involved, among other requirements.

It is essential to note that the allocated budget will be adjusted to reflect the correction coefficient applicable to the country of the new host organisation.
