REA confirms that applicants can proceed with either of the two template versions, without repercussions for applications that include the incorrect tag.

All actions: Why were MSCA templates tagged in 2022?

The use of electronic tags in proposal templates has been applied at corporate level to most of the programmes funded by the European Commission. It aims to facilitate plagiarism checks, for purely internal processing purposes, by separating the different sections of a proposal. It has neither been used nor intended to be used during the MSCA evaluations.

DN: There are two different versions of the Doctoral Networks template (Part B) that are available online (one with tags and one without tags). Which of them are applicants required to use?

Applicants need to use the template in the Submission System which is available for download through the applicant’s application page on the portal, i.e., version 1.3 of the rtf template without the tags! They should not use the standard template from the Topic page (pdf template with tags).
