DN: Are multiple recruitments possible in the case of Joint Doctorates (DN-JD) and Standard Doctoral Networks (DN) projects as far as the researchers are recruited for a minimum of 3 months?

Yes, it is possible, as long as it is well described in the proposal. It will be assessed accordingly by the evaluators. However, this set-up should not be used to circumvent some other rules, like the 40% rule.

DN: What does “multiple recruitment” mean?

“Multiple recruitment” means that the researcher has several work contracts during the fellowship. For example, during the first half of the fellowship they have a contract with a company and then during the rest of the fellowship, with a university.

Absolutely, there can also be multiple recruitments for DN Standard, provided that each contract is minimum 3 months (and maximum 36 months). The mobility rules only apply to the first recruitment.
