The employment contract with the beneficiary is maintained during the secondment/ non-academic placement periods.
The secondment/ non-academic placement is generally framed legally by an additional bilateral agreement between the beneficiary hiring the researcher and the host institution during the secondment/ non-academic placement period.
It is not necessary to
mention these periods in the employment contract, however, it is possible to
add a specific or generic sentence in the employment contract. Moreover, national law requirements should be respected.
