SE: In a Staff exchanges consortium some of the partners’ statuses appear as “declared” rather than “validated”. What does that mean?

The status indicates whether the organisation has already been validated by the EU validation services. Validation only happens at the first successful participation – at the GAP stage, organisations are asked to submit their legal documents. “Declared” means that the organisation has self-registered to create a PIC, but they haven’t participated in a successful proposal yet. This does not prevent them from participating in a proposal.
