PF: In the case of Ukraine, which date of defense counts for the MSCA eligibility rule: for the candidate of science degree or doctor of science degree?

A Candidate of Sciences is the first of two doctoral level scientific degrees in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. It is formally classified as UNESCO's ISCED level 8, "doctoral or equivalent." Former Soviet countries also have a more advanced degree, Doctor of Sciences.

The degree was abolished in Ukraine in 2014 and was equated to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.
