PF: In case of a postdoctoral fellow’s resignation, is it possible for the host organisation to replace them by another fellow or do they lose the grant?

Judging by the provision of

“ARTICLE 3 — ACTION

The grant is awarded for the action [insert project number] — [insert acronym] (‘action’), as described in Annex 1.”

The fact that Annex 1 is derived from the original text of the submitted proposal which clearly indicates the researcher, it can be assumed that if the beneficiary is no longer able to contract this individual (fellow), they are immediately in breach of Art. 3. (therefore, in breach of the Grant Agreement).
