All actions: What is the current status of UK in Horizon Europe? (as of 8 June 2023)

UK is to be considered as an Associated Country to Horizon Europe.

If the HE Association Agreement between UK and EC is not signed by the signature of the Grant Agreements, successful UK applicants will receive funding from UKRI.

The UK Government has extended the scope of its Horizon Europe Guarantee to cover calls that will close on or before 30th September 2023.

It will ensure that eligible, successful UK applicants will continue to be guaranteed funding and will receive the full value of their funding at their UK host institution for the lifetime of their grant, supporting them to continue their important work in research and innovation.

As is usual, the UK government  will keep the scope of the guarantee under review.
